Happy Mid-term break everyone!

We are absolutely delighted to welcome Morven Lind to our Tutor team.  Morven brings her expertise to our vocal and piano students.  Her timetable has some spaces – feel free to drop us a message and we’ll get you booked in.  Her lessons sound so much fun!

Our vocal and guitar tutor, Andy Brown is leaving us at the end of the year to join the Police.  And whilst we know he’ll make a great Police Officer, we are very sorry to see him go.  All at Grace Notes wish him all the best in his future career and thank him for all his support over the time he’s been with us.

Why not use the school holiday time to try something new?  You can come for holiday lessons, or with a view to joining our regular timetable after the summer break.

We have spaces in our summer timetable for lessons in woodwind, piano, singing, brass and guitar.  We have most instruments available here for trial lessons and can look at hire packages etc if you decide to carry on.

Lessons take place between 10am and 3.30pm Monday – Friday  (no lessons w/b 1 July, 22 July)   £16 per half hour or a block of four lessons for £60.

From socks to saxophone books; reeds to recorders; lunch boxes to retro gifts – it’s all going on.   We’ve also got a few pre-loved instruments which might just be the perfect gift for someone in your life.

We also have gift vouchers if you just can’t make up your mind……..

             FEES AT GRACE NOTES

One-to-One lessons are £16 per half hour.  Lessons must be paid for at the time of booking.  Continuing lessons must be paid for in advance in order that the tutor is booked.   (Lessons not paid for by 24 hours before the lesson is due to take place will be cancelled and the tutor advised not to attend)

Open groups (no more than six pupils – open to all pupils) are £10 per pupil per 45 minutes

Discounts:

·         Lessons will cost £15 if 4 lessons are paid for at a time (£60)

·         Open group lessons will be £8 if 4 groups are paid for at a time (£32)

Further Discounts available:

£135 for 10 lessons paid in one go

£255 for 20 lessons for 2 family members discount  (subsequent family members also charged at £120 or 10 lessons)

Private groups –  (no more than three pupils, not advertised externally) £25 per half hour Larger private groups by arrangement.

Please also note that we will no longer be accepting card payments for single lessons due to administrative fees – bank transfer will be acceptable on these occasions.

We are seeking members from all over East Lothian for a brand new community orchestra based in Musselburgh. Ideal for musicians who have learned or are learning an instrument, and are looking for a fun and relaxed group to join! Totally pressure-free, this orchestra hopes to perform at community events and will work on a repertoire with something for every taste.

We will meet every Thursday at 7-9pm in Musselburgh, with our first meeting being on Thursday 17th May 2018, venue tbc.
